This course 1 day course is aimed at Managers, Supervisors, Fire and Senior Security Officers who require a greater understanding and a more in depth knowledge of fire safety legislation.
The course includes: -
- Current fire safety legislation and the changes that are underway (RRO)
- Fire certification – What is the current status and where is it going from here?
- The Health and Safety at Work act and Fire Precautions (Workplace Regulations)
- BS EN3 – Fire Extinguishers
- Fire Risk assessment, plans and procedures
- Staff Training
- Fire alarms, detection, emergency lighting and fixed extinguishing systems
The course format is a mixture of structured classroom based lesson, multimedia presentations, group work and discussion.
All students will receive a certificate of attendance.
The course can be delivered at our training suite in Redwither Tower on the Wrexham industrial Estate or at your premises (provided there are a minimum number of students is 6, maximum is 12 per session and a suitable training venue).
