Managing Safely
This course that has been developed and accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (I.O.S.H.). It is run over 4 days and encourages managers to effectively manage safety in compliance with both their organisations policy and the best practise in health and safety. The areas covered include: -
- Managing safety
- Reactive monitoring
- Risk assessment and risk control
- Health and safety legislation
- Common hazards
- Active monitoring
- Safety management systems
The course encourages a pro active approach to health and safety enabling managers to review their own departmental systems for safety, introducing new controls or implementing changes as appropriate to make their department work more safely.
There is an assessment at the end of the course.
This course is certificated by I.O.S.H.
