What We Do
Atrium was established in 1998 as a Health and Safety training company who since then have grown to include consultancy and occupational health services.
By employing expert health and safety professionals, it is our aim to offer guidance and training that cover your every need. From First Aid, Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Manual Handling and Food Safety, Atrium’s training is sure to surpass your every expectation and our Occupational Health Service will ensure your workforce is also healthy.
Great training is essential to achieving a happy and efficient workforce; and being up to date with UK Health and Safety legislation is crucial for any business. Atrium’s training provides fun and interactive courses, packed with the latest knowledge, for your team to participate in and enjoy. All our trainers hold a minimum of BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training and are continually updated by our Managing Director in modern practices and procedures in conjunction with our Senior Management Team. Our purposely designed training facility in North Wales is the perfect location for your team to engage with our specialised trainer in a comfortable environment.
Furthermore, our curriculum can be delivered straight to your door by delivering our courses in-house.
Atrium is a proud member of the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) who has been awarded UKAS accreditation and members also of the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FoFATO).
Here at Atrium, we have all our First Aid training staff DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked. It means that all our staff have completed a DBS check – otherwise known as a disclosure – this is a report into their background that any employer or employee can request if they are advertising or applying for a position working with children, the elderly or the vulnerable.
A DBS check will indicate if the applicant has been the subject of any criminal proceedings which may have resulted in a criminal record as a result of any criminal offence carried out against the aforementioned groups.
Therefore you can be assured that our First Aid trainers are suitable to be working alongside children or vulnerable adults.
In terms of occupational health, we have our own occupational health technician working with us who can offer appointments such as workplace medicals and alcohol and drug screening. We also have access to an occupational health nurse consultant if required. Whether based in Wrexham and surrounding areas, or anywhere else in the UK, Atrium can help your business protect itself.
Training for a safer workplace
We want as many people trained in Health & Safety as possible to make our workplaces safer for everyone. To achieve this, our courses are competitively priced, delivered by highly qualified and experienced trainers and often also offered as open courses in order to give flexibility to companies who may struggle to release more than one member of staff at a time.
All our trainers are highly qualified and experienced in their field. All have a minimum qualification of BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
We have the option of in-house training at our training facility in Wrexham or at a customer’s own site. In addition we have open courses available here in Wrexham in most subjects in order to give flexibility to companies.
All our courses are competitively priced. We pride ourselves in value for money and a quality service.
