COVID-19 (29 May 2020)

Health and Safety Consultancy, Online and Blended Learning courses and Occupational Health Services are available.

However, unfortunately all face to face courses at our site at Redwither Tower, Wrexham, up until the 29th June 2020 (subject to change), are postponed due to the current lockdown measures from the Welsh Government and perceived gradual re-opening of services from the beginning of June.

Any appointment/course places that are cancelled will be transferred free of charge to a future date.

If you want to find out what you can do to comply with the law if First Aid cover is reduced because of the Coronavirus, please click on the following link from the HSE:

First Aid – Comply with the law

Please note that the HSE has further extended the validity of First Aid certificates that are expiring on or after the 16th March 2020 by at least 6 months. Please see latest announcements on the HSE link above (this is for First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work only). Anyone taking advantage of this extension should be able to describe clearly their reasons for delaying re-qualification training, and demonstrate steps they have taken to undertake the training required.

If you work in a childcare setting in Wales, Care Inspectorate Wales expect those who’s Paediatric First Aid certificates have expired or are requiring a new qualification should complete a Blended Learning course instead of a fully face to face course. Please get in touch for more information.
