Basic and Safety Critical Workplace Medicals

Basic and safety critical workplace medicals

Organisations have a duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) to ensure a safe system of work. It is implicit in this duty that the medical fitness of employees is a component of such a safe system of work.

Not only do employers have duties towards their employees, but also have a duty to ensure that the safety of all employees and others are not compromised.

The Basic Workplace Medical and Safety Critical Medical is a way you can take steps towards ensuring you comply with the Government’s guidance of constructing better health.
